What is in place today
- Important controls have descriptive names and generous touch targets.
- Core quilt pieces can be reached as individual controls instead of requiring a precise sweep gesture.
- Selection uses shape, text, and state—not color alone.
- Optional motion is reduced when the device’s Reduce Motion preference is on.
- The website includes landmarks, heading structure, visible keyboard focus, a skip link, and a reduced-motion treatment.
What we are still verifying
Accessibility is active release work, not a finished badge. We are testing QuiltPlay with VoiceOver, Voice Control, Switch Control, larger text, increased contrast, keyboard and pointer input, and without Apple Pencil. Some advanced creative interactions still need hands-on verification across supported devices.
This website is working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We do not yet claim that every app workflow or page has completed every automated and manual check.
Tell us where the friction is
If a control is unclear, unreachable, too small, low contrast, or too dependent on a particular gesture, please tell us what you were trying to do and which device or assistance feature you use. We read this feedback and use it to choose fixes.
